One Planet Youth Fair

We invited children or students to participate in the One Planet Youth Fair. Children and youth participated by submitting a scientific investigation or demonstration, poster or speech related to climate change, environmental issues or renewable energy.  The fair was designed to engage children and youth in these important topics.  All of these submissions were made remotely.

Youth Fair Details

Categories:

• Preschool – Kindergarten
• Grade 1-3
• Grade 4-6
• Grade 7-9
• Grade 10-12 

Entries were judged on:

·       Relevance of the project, poster or speech to the topics of climate change, environmental issues or renewable energy, 

• Workability: (how well the project, poster or speech worked to show or explain the topic) 
• Neatness and  presentation
• Judges will be college students from the environmental studies program of Cazenovia College
• Judging rubric will be sent to participants after registration is received

Prizes:

Each category had 1^st and 2^nd place prizes

First place $25.00 

Second place $10.00 

All participants received ribbons and certificates of participation.
