SCHEDULE OF EARTH WEEK EVENTS 2025

Customers visit participating merchants to identify an action they take to help reduce global warming or protect the environment, then enter their name in a drawing for a prize basket. 

Tuesday April 22:

10:00 am: Cazenovia Garden Club -Clean-up South End of Cazenovia  Lake, Meet at the lake parking area at the corner of Route 20 and 92.

The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation will again have  a Poetry on the Trail contest  with the theme of “Neighbors” .   Submissions for the contest will be accepted  from April 22and through June 20^th.

Saturday April 26:

9:00 am : The Village of Cazenovia Tree Commission will hold a tree commemoration at Lorenzo to celebrate Arbor Day.

9:00 am -3:00 pm: Clean-up- Nelson Residents only-Clean up grounds and bring debris to the Town highway barn in Erieville. 

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Caz Scout Troops 18G and 18B, Cazenovia Preservation Foundation and Trout Unlimited Madison County chapter of Izaak Walton League -CNY Chapter will have a Chittenango Creek Clean-Up, meet at Buyea’s Parking Lot

10:00 am-5:00 pm: Cazenovia Artisans – Art Supply Give-Away, 39 Albany St. Cazenovia

2:00 pm-3:00 pm: Cazenovia Heritage– Architectural walking tour of Mill and Chenango Streets. Assemble at 1:45 in the parking lot of St. Peter’s Church on Mill St.

2:00 pm- 4:00 pm: New Woodstock Free Library- Free Floral Design Workshop sponsored by Foothills Flower Farm. Just bring your own vase and everything else will be provided

Sunday April 27: 

10:00 am– 4:00 pm: Cazenovia Artisans: Art Supply Give-Away continues, 39 Albany St. Cazenovia

10:45 AM: EV Car Procession starting at Lakeland Park and arriving at American Legion (26 Chenango St., Cazenovia) at 11:00 am

 11:00 am – 3:00 pm: UCAN will have an Earth Day Fair at the American Legion (26 Chenango St., Cazenovia) with more than 25 exhibitors and vendors, an EV show with car rides available, hands-on craft activity for kids, a Vietnamese food Truck and a coffee bar.

11:45 am: Welcome -Kyle Regar, Supervisor Town of Cazenovia at the UCAN Earth Day Fair

 12:00 pm: Professor Green Pockets will perform his Magic at the UCAN Earth Day Fair

1:00 pm: Drawing for ‘I’m With Her promotion’ at the UCAN Earth Day Fair
